Product Datasheet AAT4280A

General Description
The AAT4280A SmartSwitch is a member of AnalogicTech’s Application Specific Power MOSFET™ (ASPM™) product family. The AAT4280A is a P-channel MOSFET power switch designed for high-side load switching applications. The device has a typical RDS(ON) of 80mΩ, allowing increased load switch power handling capacity. The device is available in three different versions with flexible turn-on and turn-off characteristics — from very fast to slew rate limited. The standard AAT4280A (-1) version has a slew rate limited turn-on load switch and is functionally com-patible with the AAT4250 device, while offering superior RDS(ON) characteristics. The AAT4280A (-2) version fea-tures fast load switch turn-on capabilities, typically less than 500ns turn-on and 3μs turn-off times. The AAT4280A (-3) variation offers a shutdown load discharge circuit to rapidly turn off a load circuit when the switch is disabled. The AAT4280A (-4) version features the slowest load switch turn-on capability, typically greater than 4.0ms turn-ontime. All AAT4280A load switch versions operate with an input voltage ranging from 1.5V to 5.5V, making them ideal for both 3V and 5V systems. Input logic levels are TTL and 2.5V to 5V CMOS compatible. The quiescent supply current is very low, typically 25nA. The AAT4280A is available in the Pb-free 8-pin SC70JW, 6-pin SOT23, and WLCSP-5 packages and is specified over the -40°C to +85°C temperature range.

TPS51125

DESCRIPTION
The TPS51125 is a cost effective, dual-synchronous buck controller targeted for notebook system power supply solutions. It provides 5-V and 3.3-V LDOs and requires few external components. The 270-kHz VCLK output can be used to drive an external charge pump, generating gate drive voltage for the load switches   without   reducing   the   main    converter’s efficiency. The TPS51125 supports high efficiency, fast transient response and provides a combined power-good signal. Out-of-Audio™ mode light-load operation enables low acoustic noise at much higher efficiency than conventional forced PWM operation. Adaptive     on-time     D-CAP™     control     provides convenient and efficient operation. The part operates with supply input voltages ranging from 5.5 V to 28 V and supports output voltages from 2 V to 5.5 V. The TPS51125 is available in a 24-pin QFN package and is specified from -40°C to 85°C ambient temperature range.

TPS51124

DESCRIPTION

The TPS51124 is a dual, adaptive on-time D-CAP™ mode synchronous buck controller. The part enables system designers to cost effectively complete the suite of notebook power bus regulators with the absolute lowest external component count and lowest standby consumption. The fixed frequency emulated adaptive on-time control supports seamless operation between PWM mode at heavy load condition and reduced frequency operation at light load for high efficiency down to milliampere range. The main control loop for the TPS51124 uses the D-CAP mode that optimized for low ESR output capacitors such as POSCAP or SP-CAP promises fast transient response with no external compensation. Simple and separate power good signals for each channel allow flexibility of power sequencing. The part provides a convenient and efficient operation with supply input voltages (V5IN, V5FILT) ranging from 4.5 V to 5.5 V, conversion voltages (drain voltage for the synchronous high-side MOSFET) from 3 V to 28 V and output voltages from 0.76 V to 5.5 V. The TPS51124 is available in 24-pin QFN package specified from –40oC to 85oC ambient temperature range.

TPS51120

DESCRIPTION

The TPS51120 is a highly sophisticated dual current mode synchronous step-down controller. It is a full featured controller designed to run directly off a three- or four-cell Li-ion battery and provide high-power and 5-V and/or 3.3-V standby regulation for all the down- stream circuitry in a notebook computer system. High current, 100-mA, 5-V or 3.3-V on-board linear regu- lators have glitch-free switch over function to SMPS and can be kept alive independently during standby state. The pseudo-constant frequency adaptive on-time control scheme supports full range of current mode operation including simplified loop compen- sation, ceramic output capacitors as well as seamless transition to reduced frequency operation at light-load condition. Optional D-CAP™ mode operation optimized for SP-CAP or POSCAP output capacitors allows further reduction of external compensation parts. Dynamic UVP supports VIN line sag without latch off by hitting 5V UVP. No negative voltage appears at output voltage node during UVLO, UVP, and OCP, OTP or loss of VIN. The TPS51120 32-pin QFN package is specified from –40oC to 85oC ambient temperature.
